This is the standalone frame description for the Patrol Dirt Jump D-Series, a highly respected and robust base for your custom dirt jump, pump track, or street build. Available in 20", 24", and 26" wheel sizes.
Frame Features & Technology
The Patrol D-Series frame is constructed using premium 4130 Chromoly (Cr-Mo) steel. This material choice is deliberate, offering superior impact absorption and durability compared to aluminum, which translates to that coveted "buttery smooth" ride feel and the strength needed to withstand heavy sessioning at the jumps or park.
- Material: 100% 4130 Chromoly Steel Tubing.
- Durability: Heat-treated for maximum strength and resilience.
- Geometry: Purpose-built geometry with short chainstays across all sizes for agile handling, easy manuals, and responsiveness during tricks.
- Dropout System: Features a sliding dropout system with Boost 148 spacing (on 24" and 26" models; 20" uses standard sizing) which allows you to easily adjust chain tension and dial in your desired rear center length.
- Finish: Finished in a highly durable, wear-resistant Black Chrome or Bronze Chrome plating, tougher than standard paint.
